RunOnRank (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) values and protects users’ personal information and complies with applicable laws and regulations.

Article 1. Personal Information We Collect

Required items: email address or social login information, nickname, and device information.

Optional items: profile image, running records, and location information (GPS).

Article 2. Purpose of Collection and Use

We use personal information to provide the service, measure running records, calculate rankings, operate community features, prevent fraudulent use, manage accounts, improve the service, conduct statistical analysis, and for marketing purposes.

Article 3. Processing of Location Information

Location information is collected only for the purpose of measuring running records. Background location information is collected only when the user has given explicit consent.

Article 4. Retention and Deletion

Personal information is deleted without delay once the purpose of collection has been fulfilled, and is deleted immediately when a user withdraws membership. However, if retention is required by law, the information may be retained for the required period.

Article 5. Provision and Delegation

We do not provide users’ personal information to third parties. If necessary for service operation, we may delegate processing tasks within the minimum required scope.

Article 6. User Rights

Users may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information. Users may withdraw consent to receive marketing communications at any time.

Article 7. Safeguards

We implement technical and administrative safeguards to protect personal information.

Article 8. Contact

Inquiries regarding personal information may be submitted through the in-app customer support center or through the contact channel designated by the Company.
